Who are the professionals at GCA?
Jim Fausel’s experience spanned more than 3 decades planning, conducting, and
evaluating meetings, events and conferences all over the globe. In addition to organizing
conferences and programs globally, Jim was highly recognized in professional journals
and authored many texts on meeting management issues that assisted the public and
private sector. A renowned keynote speaker, trainer and conference leader, Jim built Global Conference
Associates to provide consulting services to business, governments and school systems worldwide.
Jim’s wife, Diane, will serve as Chairman of GCA and continue to ensure that Jim Sr.’s goals and objectives
of the best global meeting and event management firm are upheld.
In 2008 Jim Jr. assumed the role of President. Mentored by his father Jim Sr., Jim has
more than 15 years experience in the travel sector. Jim’s industry experience includes
service in various roles in operations management, corporate communications and
marketing. In addition, as a professional major airline pilot, his travels have taken him

around the world. As President of GCA, Jim parlays this worldwide travel experience along with numerous
industry connections to ensure that GCA’s clients are well represented and informed for their event. An active
member of Meeting Professionals International, Jim is constantly developing industry relationships and
knowledge of trends to keep GCA ahead of the curve.
Curtis is a travel industry professional, with an educational background in the aviation
sector. He uses his years of operations experience within the airline industry to
coordinate seamless events and meetings from air and ground transportation to catering
and event logistics. As a co-founder of GCA, Curtis has a dedication to ensure a first

class operation for GCA’s clients while they can experience GCA’s ‘Meeting Management with Distinction’.
 
Stephanie brings to the GCA team accredited and certified experience planning meetings,
incentives, conventions and exhibitions. She has worked with corporate, association,
and government groups developing and producing strategic meeting results. A product
of Arizona State University’s Tourism Development and Management graduate degree
program, Stephanie uses her ‘know-how’ to ensure a full service global event that exceeds expectations.
Stephanie’s knowledge of event and conference logistics is invaluable to our clients, and they can be confident that Stephanie will direct a successful event anywhere in the world.
Megan brings extensive client relations and organization skills to GCA. Megan will follow
our clients events from start to finish and will make sure it has seamless transitions from
the get-go. As a highly trained customer service and safety professional, and with several
years as a Client Relations Manager for a worldwide construction supplier, Megan’s value
to our clients is exceptional.
Krissy brings diverse talents ranging from consulting with clients and coordinating
events, to evaluations and post conference reporting. Her experience and specialty
involve conference registration management and in depth evaluation services. Krissy
is an active member of MPI.
